25: At what age did you started playing tennis?

OM: I started playing tennis at the age of 6.

25: Why did you started playing tennis?

OM: My parents were playing tennis for fun, and one day I tried it out.

25: What's your favorite shot?

OM: The forehand.

25: And what's your favorite trick shot? (Tweener, behind the back, etc.)

OM: The reaction drop shot volley.

25: Who was your childhood idol?

OM: Pete Sampras and Thomas Muster.

OM: Roger Federer.

OM: The French doublespair Mahut/Hebert.

OM: Roger Federer.

OM: Roger Federer.

25: What's your favorite surface, and why?

OM: Grass is my favorite surface, because I have a good serve and a good return.

OM: The London Masters and Wimbledon.

OM: Federer.

OM: The Australian Open 2018 Final, where I won my first grand slam title.

OM: Definetely the Australian Open 2018.

25: What is/was your toughest shot (most struggles)?

OM: I struggled many years with my backhand return from the deuce side.

25: What's the best hot shot you've played in your whole career?

OM: Forehand.

25: Which racket do you use at the moment, and what's the weight and what string do you use?

OM: I play with an Artengo racket, it's 330g without strings and I play with half gut, half Luxilon.

 

25: Are you sponsored by a brand?

OM: My sponsors are Artengo and Citadel.

 

25: Did you trained on an academy?

OM: In my career I practised at many places, but nowhere one time only.

 

25: How many rackets do you use in one year?

OM: I just need 10-12 racket a year.

 

25: And how many strings?

OM: A lot as I string always 2-3 rackets per match new. So I think 100-150 strings per year.

 

25: What's your advice for young players?

OM: Give 100% every day, sometimes it will be less or better, but like this you can get a possibility to achieve your goals in life.
